Position: Account Managers / Part-time- Commission Only
Description: We are currently seeking Account Managers/ San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris. In this role, you would be responsible for building and maintaining territory ad revenue and exceeding goals through creative and strategic selling. Work with clients to determine their business needs and formulate ad sales solutions that tap into gay urban singles unique social networking services. Ideal candidates will have a good understanding of business and technology marketing as well as the GLBT marketplace. You must have a firm comprehension of how the web is impacting marketplaces and company business models as well as an ability to think creatively, sell strategically, and communicate efficiently internally and externally. You will have a strong desire to win, and to continually develop your personal and professional skills. One must exhibit strong computer skills, outstanding verbal and written communication skills. You must establish in person relationships with clients by conducting a high volume of face to face calls that over time build credibility with the client base ensuring a strategic line of communication. The Account Manager will conduct a regular analysis of territory including accurate revenue forecasts and complete regular call reports to update the management team on account activity. Responsibilities: • Establish the gay urban singles brand and story with advertisers. • Develop account and territory strategies for long term development and revenue growth • Provide clients with a true consultative sales experience and engagement results. • Understanding of Ad inventory available and ability to translate and move the new sales to inventory • Take strategic lead to prioritize and ensure proper account management both internally and externally • Secure strategic level relationships with senior client contacts within the account list or territory region • Frequent and regular account status updates through written call reports and verbal communication • Accurate and timely communication to manager of all relevant information regarding revenue • Attain established revenue goals through innovative and strategic selling
Requirements: • 5 years advertising sales experience • 2 years of Internet sales preferred • BA/BS or equivalent training and experience • Proven success within business and/or technology marketers and agencies • Deep experience into the elements that go into successful online campaigns
